gluten-free for the holidays: the e-book!by caroline
GUESS WHAT this Friday is?! PLEASE NOTE: Sadly, the book release has been delayed until tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th. Soon enough, my cupcakes!
The release of my holiday e-book, Gluten-Free for the Holidays –– EEEK! So excited! Above you can see a few of the recipes, including Gingersnaps, Simple Sugar Cookies, Sweet Potato Oatmeal, Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites and a Mulled Wine Granita.
I will be honest: The production of this book happened in a flash. The short version of the story is that I came up with the idea in early October, baked my booty off for the next three weeks, went through edits and here we are –– Friday is the day! You’ll learn more about why I wanted to produce this guide when you have it in your hands, but I will tell you that this e-book is my way of showing you that you can have your favorite holiday goodies and still be gluten-free. When I was diagnosed with celiac disease three years ago, it was only a few short months before the holidays were in full swing. This was an especially tough moment for me because one of the things I love most about the holidays is baking! I had no idea how to create my favorites and it took some serious trial and error to figure it out.
Well, this book takes the guesswork out of it for you! Recipes include (all are, of course, gluten-free):
- Grain-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (vegan)
- Mandel Bread
- Almond & Pistachio Wedding Cookies (vegan)
- Grain-Free Apple Pecan Bake (vegan)
- Mini Pumpkin Pie Cups (grain-free and vegan)
- Faux Hard Cider (naturally vegan)
- Chocolate Chip Coffee Bread
- Mulled Wine Granitas (naturally vegan)
- Peanut Butter & Jelly Oat Bars (vegan)
The e-book also includes tips for choosing gluten-free alcohol and DIY gift ideas that are an absolute cinch to make at home. Oh, and it has links to how-to videos and FIVE BONUS recipes that you can access right here on the site (but you’ll need the top-secret password)! The e-book will be available wherever e-books are sold, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and iBook.
OHMYGOSHI’MSOEXCITED. I can’t wait to hear what all of you think! Thank you for all of the love and support that each one of you share with me every day. Now that this e-book is a wrap and the book is hitting the shelves in January, I will be resuming much more of my regular blogging and recipe-making schedule. Plus, I will be sharing news about events, video tutorials and more.
Happy day, my sweet, sweet cupcakes! ♥
