Sure, it’s the season for pumpkin — pumpkin pie, pumpkin lattes and pumpkin, well, EVERYTHING. So, why not treat your skin to the yummy ingredient? Pumpkin is loaded with B vitamins, in addition to C, A and E. It is also packed with beta carotene and zinc — all nutrients that make your skin look stunning. Mixed with the honey and yogurt, this mask is soothing and hydrating for all skin types. Plus, the ground almonds add an exfoliating property that is great for washing away impurities.
Best part? It’s naturally gluten-free, so no worries about getting it near your gorgeous kisser.
2 Tablespoons almonds, ground
1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 Tablespoon plain Greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon honey
(1) Pulse almonds in a food processor or clean coffee grinder until ground. Pour into a small bowl.
(2) Add pumpkin, yogurt and honey to the almonds, stirring until combined.
(3) Apply mixture to a clean face. Allow mask to sit for 15 minutes before splashing face with water and using fingertips to lightly massage mixture into skin. Rinse off completely. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.
