Pleased to Tweet You.

Guess who’s featured in the June 2011 newsletter from The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness?!

I was so excited when the cool peeps over at NFCA asked me to be their interviewee for the “Pleased to Tweet You” section of their newsletter. Go check it out and enjoy the other wonderful information that’s wrapped up in the newsletter, like Jennifer Fugo’s tips for eating healthier gluten-free foods and yummy recipes from Chef Oonagh Williams‘, like Mediterranean Salmon and No-Bake Kahlua Cheesecake Mouse.

The NFCA is a stellar resource for helping to raise awareness of Celiac disease among the general public and the healthcare community. The organization works hard to facilitate research that will help people and doctors better understand the causes, mechanisms, and treatment of Celiac disease.

Thank goodness for organizations like the NFCA, right?!

On the G-Spot home front: Today is a busy day. My brother, Luke, is graduating from high school! I can’t believe my baby is all grown up — today is bound to be a bittersweet day, but I am so proud of him and honored to be his sister. Tissues will be in hand!

I had the wonderful opportunity to run with Luke this morning, and now I’m off to make gluten-free waffles for the two of us and Luke’s girlfriend, Kelsey. I’ve used this Bisquick Gluten-Free mix for biscuits before, but never for waffles, so we’ll see how this goes!

Happy Day!
