honey roasted chickpeas

1 12-oz. can chickpeas
3 Tablespoons honey
1/2 Tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon sea salt


(1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Drain and rinse chickpeas; pat dry to remove excess water.

(2) In a medium bowl, combine chickpeas, honey, sesame oil and sea salt, stirring well. Spread mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving excess liquid in the bowl.

(3) Roast for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through roasting time. Make sure to watch chickpeas in the last few minutes of roasting time to avoid burning.
