Inspired, Amazed … & Completely WOWED.

by caroline

I finally had a chance to watch Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead last night and I am … WOWED.

Just utterly and completely inspired.

Not only is Joe Cross' journey amazing, but it's the IMPACT his very personal experience has had on other people that has me  amazed. I know for some that a 60-day juice fast might seem completely extreme — AND THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS. But know this, folks: When you dig a hole in your health and can't seem to find a way out, it requires EXTREME measures. That's not to say this is the route for everyone (you know my philosophy about finding a healthy balance to call your own). But when the "price tag" leads to better health, it's hard to argue that, for Joe Cross, this one was an investment worth making.

As you know, I am a big fan of juicing, and this video helped to remind me why. I love that glow and pure energy that comes with a fresh cup of veggie and fruit juice. Even with the large amount of weight some people in the video have to lose, it's incredible to see the results of sipping fresh juice shining through their skin after just a few days of committing to juicing.

If you have Netflix, then you can watch this now on your Instant Play (that's what I did). And if not, then get your hands on a copy! Remember: Your takeaway from the documentary doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing approach. If it inspires you to make one small change toward your health, then it was worth it!

Joe Cross and friends, you have left me speechless … and that's tough to do. ;)

I'm curious: What are your thoughts on juicing and juice fasts? If you knew it could save your life, would you do it?
